Fingers Crossed

Meeting with engineer today to see what, if anything, can be salvaged following his hard-drive failure. Good thing we work slow and hadn't gotten much done, anyway.

Show at Coco66 on Friday 3/6

Show this Friday, March 6th, at Coco66 on 66 Greenpoint Ave. in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY. Also playing: Suckers; Aaron Pfenning of Chairlift's solo project; and Acrylics, featuring ex-Stylofone members. We start at something like 9pm. No word on a cover yet.

This will be the second entry in the ongoing Evolving Line-Up series. This performance will feature previous guest-musician Jeff Knutsen (of It Lives and Fast Fourier) in a different role, and longtime friend of but new addition to the Esque family Kevin Duffey (DJ Niteline).

Finally got the piano part recorded for the last song of the new album today, which means that progress will now pick up. Expect new product of some kind by spring.

In musical news, not much progress recently on the record. There's one song that has to be built around piano, and I have to bring someone in that can actually play.
